Pure Land

I let it fall

Like a heavy rain

To wash the day

To make it clean

Among the clouds

I saw the surge

Took in the earth

Fed the lamb

I let it fall

Like a heavy rain

To wash the day

To make it clean

So many prints

Flecks of the past

They drove me mad

Like a horror house

I was divided

Now I am whole

Breathe in the calm

A sleeping giant

I heard the source

It had no meaning

There was resolve

The way was vague

Rich in seduction

Push back the pull

I beat the odds

No end I run

I let it fall

Like a heavy rain

To wash the day

To make it clean

Among the clouds

I saw the surge

Took in the earth

Fed the lamb

I let it fall

Like a heavy rain

To wash the day

To make it clean

Hence went the wind

It took the list

To reveal the world

That I am thought

The water rose

To steal my gain

In one reflection

The hate recedes

Called out the name

That had no answer

So was the way

Until it cracked

What held me true

Lost all desire

I beat the odds

No end I run

(Repeat Chorus)

And in the dark

Lay empty chains

The earth was hallow

My lamb was saved
